It has been my honour to serve as your Ward Councillor for the past 4 years. It has been my privilege to chair a number of Committees. I am a Governor of IJPS School in Barkingside, which my granddaughter attends. I have dealt with many varied concerns of constituents over this time.  I have represented Barkingside Ward for Seven Years. I have served on numerous Committees, held three Cabinet positions and last year I had the honour of being elected Leader of the Council. But what I am most proud of is the improvements we have made to Barkingside Ward. I live in the Ward and have a real interest in fighting for the local community.  I have lived in Barkingside for 35 years, so I know the area well. I was Vice-Chairman of Gearies schools for 11 years. I have been a member of the last 7 Mayor's Appeal committees, supporting local and national charities. Currently I am Chairman of Barkingside Police Panel. Now I look forward to representing the residents of Barkingside.
