Clayhall is part of the Ilford North Constituency (MP Lee Scott, Conservative) and is one of 21 wards in Redbridge. Clayhall has two Conservative Councillors,  Cllr Robert Cole and Cllr Alan Weinberg.

Robert, was born in Redbridge, is married lives in Clayhall. He has chaired various Council Committees and focused on improving services for the residents. He has campaigned for the greening of Clayhall with the continued tree planting in parks and roads and continues to campaign for greater public involvement in local decisions, he will listen and act for you.

Alan has been a resident of Clayhall for 40 years and has represented the ward for 28 years. He is married to Hazel.As well as being Chairman of Beal High School, Alan was Leader of the Council from 2006 - 2009. He has, during his time on the Council; chaired most major committees; and was also privileged to be The Mayor of Redbridge from 2001-2002. Alan is currently Cabinet Member for Leisure. Alan believes passionately in keeping Clayhall a good, safe environment to live and raise a family in; and working to ensure that this is achieved.
