Cllr Brian Lambert Cllr Alex Phillips Cllr Joyce Ryan

I have worked in Local Government for 40 years with LCC, GLC, ILEA, and as Chief Officer in Housing with an Inner London Authority.

I was elected as a Fairlop Ward Councillor in 2006 and live within the Ward. I have raised issues for constituents and resolved many housing problems.

I am committed to improving local people's lives. I've campaigned for local bus links, worked with teenagers on improving financial literacy and am a School Governor. If elected, I will work hard to improve Barkingside High Street, address anti-social behaviour and scrutinise council finances to protect services and keep council tax low. I will fight for all Fairlop residents' concerns. Like you Joyce lives in Fairlop and has represented the ward since 1990.

She is a teacher and school governor.

Currently Joyce is spokesperson on the Resources and Finance Committee scrutinising Council spending.

Joyce is mindful of the contribution that the Arts make towards enriching people's lives and is proud to be Chairman of Redbridge Arts Council and Redbridge Drama Centre. She is also on the board of the Kenneth More Theatre.

In 2007/8 Joyce was Mayor and she has always worked with and for local residents and their issues.
