Snaresbrook Ward


Snaresbrook is part of the Leyton and Wanstead Constituency and is one of 21 wards in Redbridge.


Snaresbrook's three Conservative Councillors are Cllr Chris Cummins, Cllr Peter Goody and Cllr Suzanne Nolan.

Chris has been your ward councillor since 2002. He is currently Chairman of the Council's Conservation Advisory Panel and played a leading role in the creation of the Wanstead Grove Conservation Area. Chris is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the character of Snaresbrook and Wanstead. He is also a Governor of Snaresbrook Primary School and a past Deputy Mayor.
Peter has lived in Wanstead and Woodford for 48 years and represented Snaresbrook for 34 years. He has held many senior positions on the Council and is currently Chairman of the Area Committee for Snaresbrook and Wanstead. Widely regarded as an expert on planning matters, Peter will continue to resist unwelcome developments, protect green spaces and preserve conservation areas.  Suzanne is privileged to represent Snaresbrook since 1998. A school Governor; she has held senior positions in council including deputy Mayor and is currently Cabinet member for Resources. Dedicated to serving the community, Suzanne believes passionately that Snaresbrook should remain a wonderful place to live. She will represent all residents equally and is committed to protect and enhance the Ward.
